European passports · questions
Asked by EU, EEA and Swiss citizens
The EX-18 at Personal comunitarios y regresos, students, pensioners, pilgrims who stay, and whether the padrón or the certificate comes first in Pamplona/Iruña.
I am Irish and start at a plant near Pamplona next month. What will I need?
Your employer will want your NIE and your Social Security number; and since you are staying, you register on the EX-18 with the contract. In Pamplona the green certificate comes from Personal comunitarios y regresos at Avenida de Guipúzcoa 40.
Certificado de registro UE Pamplona: which section issues it?
The Delegación del Gobierno lists EU citizens’ certificates with Personal comunitarios y regresos (pamplona.comunitarios-aregreso@policia.es). In the south, the Comisaría de Tudela lists them too.
I am doing a master’s in Pamplona. Which ground do I tick on the EX-18?
Tick “student”: show your enrolment and a health policy, for which the European Health Insurance Card often does, and sign a statement that you have enough to live on.
Our pensions come from Belgium and neither of us works here. Is that enough to register?
It can be. Tick the box for sufficient resources and add your pension statements and your public or private health cover. Each spouse files an EX-18 of their own.
Padrón or green certificate: which comes first?
Either. The Ayuntamiento de Pamplona/Iruña accepts an EU identity card or a passport for the padrón, so you need not wait for the certificate. The towns around the city set their own lists.
I walked the Camino, found work in Pamplona and want to stay. Where do I begin?
With the contract in hand, register on the EX-18 as a worker at Personal comunitarios y regresos, and put your new address on the padrón at the Ayuntamiento’s citizen office on Calle Mayor.
